Goyard was established in 1853 by François Goyard. The characteristic chevron pattern was cleverly designed to form a ‘Y’, representing the three centuries of Goyard and their ‘Compagnon de Riviere ancestors’. Each pattern is delicately hand-painted onto a lightweight coated canvas.
Condition Notes: Light creasing and scuffs throughout exterior leather trim and handles. Visible creasing to handle bases. Marks and darkening throughout handle casing. Light scuffs and wear to exterior bottom corners. Light scuffs and wear throughout exterior coated canvas. Moderate marks and discoloration throughout interior.
